Steps
1. Get an eye test done either at an optician or at your driving school.
2. The school will handle all paper-work with RTA who may even have a counter at the school.
3. Receive your temporary driving licence, which you must carry in your training car.
4. Once you have passed all internal tests like garage and parking, your school will apply for your signal test followed by your road test.

Signal Test
On the date assigned, go with your passport, driving file+ 2 photos to RTA License Section of your driving school. Fill up application form & submit fees (around AED 80). When your name is called out, go to the computer booth and identify the traffic signals. (In case you are not computer literate, you can opt for the manual test). Collect the pass print-out with your road test date (if you fail, pay the test-fee & you will be given another new test time and date) and submit to your driving school.

Road Test
On the date assigned, go with your passport, driving file+ 2 photos to the RTA License Section as advised by your driving school. Fill up application form & submit fees (around AED 80 for road test. When your name is called out, go along with the other three candidates and the RTA inspector to the designated car. You will be given just a few minutes to demonstrate your driving and anticipatory skills.

If you pass, collect the approval paper from your inspector and go to the Pass Counter. Submit along with suitable ID & AED 100. Collect your test file and submit to Control Counter. After processing, pay required fee and proceed to photo area. When your name is called out, have your photo taken. Congratulations. In a few minutes, you will receive your DL and be eligible to drive in Dubai and the UAE.

Do keep in mind that Dubai has a zero-tolerance policy on drinking and driving. Plainclothesmen travel about in unmarked vehicles and can legally stop you at any time to check. Dubai eGovernment recommends that you buckle up your seatbelt and drive safely at all times.

Arranged on different elevations, the 9 hole par 36 course features a large central salt-water lake that comes into play on five holes. Each hole is uniquely landscaped with exotic trees, shrubs, wooden gazebos and panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf.

Peacock, guinea fowl, and partridges roam free on the perfectly manicured Bermuda grass greens and fairways. The availability of four tees on each hole not only creates a different aspect and playability for every hole, but also offers an opportunity to play an 18 hole round. Golfers wishing to maintain their tee and fairway shots have access to a 350 yard range.

Arabian Ranches reflects the beauty of the desert and combines the highest norms of comfort and lifestyle. The complex is located in Dubailand between the Global Village and the Autodrome of Dubai on Emirates Road, 15 minutes away from the Mall of the Emirates. It is a compound of villas combining the fascinating desert with the traditional Arabic heritage. In the Arabian Ranches there are several different communities which are designed with different themes. Indeed, there are ten different residence types, starting from townhouses up to the prestigious huge villas in Arabic or Mediterranean style. People have been living in Arabian Ranches for the last two years, and hence all the landscaping is already in place.
Several of these houses are located around the 18 holes Golf course of 7000 meters, called the Course of the Desert. The development also contains a driving range; a riding school, a polo ground, and a British program primary school and secondary school (Jumeirah English Speaking School JESS). Moreover, residents can enjoy a community centre with a fitness club, swimming pools, restaurants and retail shops.

When you ultimately plan to travel you should actually know the best time to visit Dubai. This trip depends upon the Dubai weather and climate.

You can easily examine of the Dubai weather if you divide the year into phases.

January to March, April to June, July to September and October to December could be the four time phases that may use for understanding the Dubai weather.

Weather in January to March

You will find the period between January and March the most comfortable period in terms of the weather in Dubai. The temperature is moderate and could rise to a maximum of 30 degrees centigrade while the minimum temperature is around 15 degrees. The relative humidity is around 65. The precipitation is about average in January while you may witness higher precipitation in February and March. It is sunny for almost 8 hours everyday.

Dubai Weather in April to June

You may feel the months between April and June to be slightly warmer. The average temperature is generally between 35 and 40 degrees centigrade. The humidity is slightly lower than the preceding months and ranges approximately from 50 to 55. You will get little rainfall in April while hardly any in May and June. The sunshine remains for about 11 hours each day.

Weather in July to September

You will notice a gradual change in the weather during July, August and September. July is probably the warmest month of the year. You will find the other two months are also quite warm at about 40 degrees centigrade. The humidity is more or less same as the previous phase. You may get scanty rainfall during these months. It remains sunny for about 10 or 10.5 hours daily.

Weather in October to December

The Dubai weather, you will experience, again takes on a pleasant mode as it approaches the months of October, November and December. October may continue to be slightly uncomfortable but the following months are always nice. The maximum temperature in October may be somewhere around 35 degrees while the minimum temperature could be around 25.

You will see about a maximum of 30 degrees centigrade and a minimum of 20 or below in the other two months. The humidity level rises up slightly during these months and could range between 60 and 65. According to the Dubai weather October and November has moderate rainfall while December has higher precipitation.

The basic norms and rules followed in almost parts of the world may be the same while buying property. However, there are several place specific laws of property.

The same is applicable to property in Dubai. If you are from a foreign country you will realize that the property laws there are quite different from the Dubai property laws.

Status

All types of laws including property law may undergo small or big transformations over a time span. This may happen even if the property market is extremely developed. It is the same in Dubai too.

The property law in Dubai is relatively new, as it has taken shape only recently. Hence in order to come to a concrete form it will take some time. Nevertheless, the present laws that have been laid down are quite simple.

The prevalent laws

The present Dubai property law entails several simple rules. You can own freehold land only if you are a UAE or GCC citizen. Companies owned by such citizens or with public shareholding may own freehold too. Again the ruler of Dubai may permit you to own freehold property or to have it on lease for 99 years.

You must leave all relevant documents of property registry with the Lands and Properties Departments and judicial bodies or experts can avail of attested copies. This department is meant specifically for the registration of property rights and contracts of long term leasing. The value of the electronically preserved documents is equivalent to the original document.

Property transactions are invalid unless properly registered. Cases of inheritance should also be registered similarly. The Lands department can look after the unregistered land settlement or rectify financial mistakes, on application. The Chairman of the Lands department is responsible for issuing the laws that are then printed in the official journal.

Advice

It is true that you can know the Dubai property laws through the official journals but it is always advisable to opt for professional help before you actually go ahead with your investment on Dubai property.

When you are buying a property in Dubai you need to rely on a good legal concern or individual and also an efficient financial advisor who is well aware of the pros and cons of property law in Dubai so as to help you to make the best moves.
